Marilyn Heine
MD, FACEP
Dr. Heine is an award-winning emergency physician, hematologist oncologist, educator, and advocate. She practices clinically in SE Pennsylvania and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine.
Prominent positions include being a member of the AMA Board, CAQH CORE Board, Da Vinci Clinical Advisory Council, and ACEP Committees. Former roles include PAMED President, PACEP President, ACEP Federal Government Affairs Committee Chair, PA State Medical Board Chair, and course director for the ACEP-National Hemophilia Foundation-Medscape "Evaluation and Management of Hemophilia in the ED."
Dr. Heine received gubernatorial appointments to Pennsylvania's eHealth Collaborative and Health Care Reform Advisory Committee. She testified before Congress on Medicare physician payment and helped to advise a prior presidential administration.
Multiple awards and recognitions include the following from ACEP: James D. Mills Outstanding Contribution to Emergency Medicine, Colin C. Rorrie, PhD Excellence in Health Policy, Council Meritorious Service, 911 Network Member of the Year, Hero of Emergency Medicine; and PACEP: Outstanding Contribution to Emergency Medicine.
