Cheyenne Falat

Dr. Falat is a faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Assistant Medical Director of the Adult Emergency Department at the University of Maryland Medical Center, and Medical Director of the Access Center Physicians at the University of Maryland Access Center. 

Dr. Falat completed her residency, chief residency, and Faculty Development Fellowship at the University of Maryland. She has an academic passion for environmental/wilderness medicine, procedural education, and operations, and has both published and lecturered in all of these realms.  She is also the section editor for Corependium's Environmental Medicine chapters, and was recently a guest editor for the Emergency Medicine Clinics of North America issue on Environmental and Wilderness Medicine. 

Dr. Falat spends her free time outdoors with family and friends, and is always either on or planning her next ski trip or international travel.
